ESOL Course Information

The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses are designed to help non-native speakers of English to enter and succeed in the community and technical college system as well as in the transfer curriculum.

ESOL skills courses focus on speaking and listening, reading and vocabulary, writing and grammar, and pronunciation. In addition, students take an integrated skills course which gives them an opportunity to explore various topics and practice all their language skills together.

We teach the following Levels:

  • Beginners
  • Elementary
  • Pre-intermediate
  • Intermediate
  • Upper Intermediate
  • Advanced

Times Full time: 10 weeks-Monday: Saturday (23 hours p/w)
Monday-Friday: 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
Part-time: 10 weeks- Monday-Friday (16 hours p/w)
9:30 am-12:30 pm
Part time: 5 weeks -Monday -Friday ( 2 hours a week)
Friday: 9:30 am-11:30 am

Conversational classes1 Free hour per week for both full time and part time modes
Fees structure: Full time: 10 weeks - 23 hours per week.
Group Course: $300 NZ P/W
One-on-One: $800 NZ / PW
Part-time 1: 10 weeks- 16 hours per week.
Group Course: $240 NZ pw
One-on-One Couse (VIP): $600 pw
Part-time 2: 5 weeks course- 10 hours course in total:
Group Course: $200 NZ for the 5 weeks course
One-on-One Couse (VIP): $400 pw for the 5 weeks course.
